Registration
Registration for classes at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County occurs
for each semester according to a priority based upon the
number of credits previously earned, including officially
evaluated transfer credits.
Advance registration for continuing, transfer, and reentry
students usually begins on the second Monday of April for
the fall semester and the second Monday of November for
the spring semester. Continuing students receive a registration "appointment
time" which indicates when they are eligible to begin registering
for classes within the advance registration period.
New freshmen initially register for classes through the
Student Advising,
Orientation, Registration (SOAR) program
which serves one part of the overall new freshmen orientation
program.
Transfer, re-entry, and special students must meet with
an academic advisor through the Office of Student
Services prior to registering for classes.
Continuing students may register for classes by logging
in to the PRISM student records system once they have received
a registration appointment time, which is also viewable
through PRISM.
